20th June 2012LYME REGIS: Artists join forces for 'Colour, Line and Thread' exhibition
FIVE local artists have joined forces to present an exhibition named “Colour, Line and Thread” at the Town Mill’s Courtyard Gallery in Lyme Regis.
The exhibition will feature a mixture of paintings, textiles and land art by Hilary Buckley, Pat Campbell, Pat Marler, Peter Newby and John Calder. It will run from Saturday, July 7th to Wednesday, July 25th.
This is the second time the artists have joined up to show their work, with their first successful exhibition being held in 2011.
• THE Town Mill has received a “fantastic response” to its fifth annual Open Arts Competition and will be displaying submitted work from Saturday, June 23rd to Sunday, June 22nd at the Malthouse.
First, second the third place winners will be announced at the exhibition opening at 12noon on Saturday 23rd. The People’s Choice award and raffle prize winners will be announced when the exhibition closes.
The exhibition will be open seven days a week from 11am to 4pm.
