LYME REGIS: Only half the council attend Mayor Makingby Francesca Evans
ONLY half of Lyme Regis Town Council attended the annual Mayor Making ceremony last week, thought to be the worst civic turnout at the traditional event in recent history.

Four groups who helped with last year’s Maiden Newton at War event have been presented with cheques.
They received a share of the profit with £4,000 each going to St Mary’s Church, the Junior Football Club and the Friends of Maiden Newton Play Area.
